Every overnight is at an established lodge or camp operated by its own team — not a private home, and not a GAPI-owned property. We select places for location, reliability, and fit to your dates. Your itinerary names the exact properties once availability is confirmed.
Plains stays that match the season
For Serengeti nights we book a mix of permanent lodges and tented camps — including seasonal migration camps when your dates align with calving or river crossings. Placement follows wildlife patterns and park access, not a fixed GAPI “home camp.”
Some properties sit inside the park; others are on the boundary with short transfer times. We recommend based on your travel month, budget tier, and whether you prefer canvas or solid walls.

Rim and highlands bases
Crater days work best from a lodge on or near the rim, or from a well-placed Karatu property with a short morning transfer. We book independent highland lodges so you can reach the descent early — without inventing a private “GAPI rim camp.”
Nights are cool at altitude. Most guests spend one or two nights here around a full crater day, then continue to Serengeti or return toward Arusha.

Baobab country & the rift
Around Tarangire and Lake Manyara we use established lodges and tented camps — some inside or beside the parks, others a short drive from the gates. July–October is peak for elephants along the Tarangire River; we match lodging to that season when it is your priority.
Night drives are only arranged where the park and property permits allow. Your quote will state clearly what is included.

Beach hotels & villas
After safari, we book independent beach hotels, boutique properties, and private villas on Zanzibar — chosen for beach access, privacy, and how they fit your dates. Flights and transfers are arranged as part of the same plan.
Safari guiding ends on the mainland; island stays are hosted by the property. We remain your single planning contact for the full journey.
