GAPI mobile camps are positioned inside national park boundaries on GAPI concession land. Not adjacent. Not nearby. Inside. You wake up where the animals are.

Positioned inside Serengeti National Park on GAPI concession land, repositioned monthly following the Great Migration. Dec-Feb at Ndutu for calving season. Aug-Sep at the Lamai Wedge for Mara crossings.
Four sleeping tents with proper beds, solar lanterns, charging, and private canvas veranda. Mess tent for dining. Camp cook prepares all meals from fresh produce transported with the camp. Hot showers heated over the camp fire.

Positioned inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at 2,300m on the western rim. Enables the 4:45am crater descent — 90 minutes before standard 6:15am gate opening. The first 90 minutes inside the crater are effectively private.
Cool-to-cold nights, heavier blankets, hot water bottles, Maasai fire tender maintaining the camp fire through evening and relighting before dawn. Waking at 4:15am to the highland forest before the descent.

Positioned inside Tarangire near the river — the permanent water source drawing exceptional wildlife in the July-October dry season. Up to 300 elephants in a single herd at the water's edge. Night drives available.
Ancient baobab landscape. Lameck Stanslaus has recorded 40+ bird species before breakfast on multiple occasions. Primary recommendation for dry season safari.

For clients preferring fixed accommodation, GAPI works with selected partner lodges across the Northern Circuit and Zanzibar. The guide and vehicle remain GAPI's; accommodation and meals are the property's.
Preferred configuration for clients wanting GAPI's naturalist guiding without mobile camping — for comfort, family travel with young children, or simply by preference. Guiding quality identical to mobile camp.
Every GAPI accommodation is sole-use. Tell us your preference — mobile camp or fixed lodge — and we will design accordingly.
