Every family itinerary is built from scratch. This example suits a family with children aged 8–14.

Day

Arrive Arusha

Airport pickup. Family-friendly lodge with gardens and pool. Guide briefing. Junior naturalist journals distributed.

Day

Tarangire National Park

Elephant herds among the baobabs. First game drive — tracking, identification, and the junior naturalist programme. Picnic lunch in the park.

Day

Ngorongoro Crater

Dawn descent. Big Five morning. Afternoon on the rim — star-mapping intro. Campfire dinner.

Days

Central Serengeti

Three days paced for the family. Morning drives. Afternoon bush walks, bird ID, field journals. Night drive on day five (TANAPA permit included).

Days

Zanzibar beach

Charter to Zanzibar. Beach, snorkelling, Stone Town. Sunset dhow. Depart from Zanzibar International.
